Group Therapy
Group therapy is a core part of every treatment plan at Burgess Recovery. In these sessions, we bring clients together to share experiences, practice new skills, and support one another through recovery. You are not alone here. We guide each group carefully, so honest conversation can happen safely.
How Group Therapy Works in Treatment
Group therapy is a treatment session in which several clients meet together with a licensed clinician to talk through the experiences that recovery brings. A typical session is a guided conversation. You listen, you share when you are ready, and you learn from people who understand what you are facing.
This work helps with the isolation, shame, and communication patterns that often accompany addiction and mental health conditions. We use it as one part of your wider treatment plan, and we adjust the focus of each group as you move forward in your care.
