How We Handle Travel
Distance does not have to complicate treatment. Many of the people we care for at Burgess Recovery travel from outside the area, and we coordinate the logistics of getting here so that you can focus on the decision that matters most.
When you call to begin admissions, we walk through the practical details with you and handle the arrangements on your behalf. Depending on where you are coming from, that support may include:
- Helping book and confirm flights, and reviewing travel times so your arrival lines up with your intake appointment
- Guidance on what to pack and which items to leave at home, so nothing slows you down at check-in
- Coordinating pickup from the airport or station once you land, so you are met and brought directly to us
- Staying in contact with a family member along the way, if you would like us to
